Sony Vaio AW Series, with 18.4″ screen Notebooks
Sony has happened, really, with this series of portable Sony Vaio AW series, which seeks to cope with Apple products (such as the MacBook Pro) and other competitors focused on the professional segment.

These models have a very simple but elegant design, while its magic is when we talk about their characteristics, as shown below:
- Intel Core 2 Duo T9600
- Screen 18.4″ with backlighting system 3LED
- Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080)
- Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT with 512MB
- Disk SSD of 128GB, combined with a record of 500GB Sata
- Blu-Ray
- HDMI Output
Its price, at least for Japan, around 2800 dollars for the more modest version, so you can already get an idea of what it cost the better version.
Will be available for 20 September, so not much to learn more about this product.
We will see as its competitors respond to this new threat from Sony.
