3D on mobile phones without glasses

3M continues to investigate 3D products to eliminate the hassle of putting ourselves when we want to display content glasses in three dimensions.

The prototypes that have shown these days have sizes of only 2.8 and 9 inches, so its direct application would be in ultra-portable mobile phone or digital photo frames. The technology we have developed is based on a system of prisms in a sheet to be integrated into the LCD and to be responsible for correctly display images separately in the left eye and right. To use this type of technology will require dual backlight, each for an eye.

New MediaTek MT8530 chipset receives DivX Certification Plus

The company MediaTek Inc. has introduced its new MT8530 chipset, which is the first chip for Blu-ray player that has a DivX Plus certification. The new chipset allows playback of DivX HD Plus videos based on the H.264 technology and the MKV container on a Blu-Ray player and HD formats are here to support up to a resolution of 1080p.

The MT8530 chipset will also be able to play back AAC audio format and this should already come in time coming in the new Blu-Ray players are used.

New DTLMP45AV 8GB PMP Tankho

Tankho in Japan announced their new PMP, the DTLMP45AV, which has a 4.3 inch LCD screen with a resolution of 480 x 272, 8 GB of internal memory and support for microSDHC cards up to 8GB, as well as being able to record video directly without conversion.

Supports DivX, FLV, RM, RMVB, WMV and H.264 files.

MSI X-Slim X350 slim laptop

The X600 Pro is not the only model within this range see manufacturer’s upcoming dates, because it will add the MSI X-Slim X350, a laptop, thin but with a range more than acceptable.

The casing is made of magnesium and laser engraved on top. Abroad can also find a Chiclet keyboard, all in a weight of less than 1.5 kilos and 2.5 centimeters thick. Not bad for battery life that promises up to 9 hours.
