Plextor StorX NAS up to 2 TB

A new NAS this time manufactured by Plextor, named Plextor StorX. On the one hand Plextor StorX with a single hard drive, 500 GB and 1 TB of capacity, and targeted at users who want to venture into the storage devices on the network. And a little more advanced and interesting are the three models StorX with two hard drives, offering capacities of 1, 1.5 and 2 TB.

The price of the devices were placed in 225 or 300 euros for the NAS with a record of 500 GB or 1 TB, and at 375, 420 and 510 euros for the Plextor StorX dual hard drive of 1, 1.5 and 2TB respectively. Will be available soon through authorized distributors.

Known features and prices, we are talking about NAS that, while not expensive compared to other competing products, continue to be somewhat in excess of what a home user might pay. It should be borne in mind that these NAS devices emerge as a trend in external storage, offering higher speed data transfer using a network interface. However, the price difference is very significant, and although the NAS to be much faster I doubt that is something that these prices worthwhile for a home user.
