Pioneer BDR-203BK 8X Blu-Ray Recorder

After talk of reducing licensing costs of Blu-ray, we have to keep an eye on the Pioneer BDR-203BK, an optical drive that can record in this format and whose main interest lies in the fact enable 8X speed recording.
This achieves both the speed with one layer discs with two discs, provided they are of type BD-R. If you are rewritable, the speed drops to 2X. Besides Blu-ray, this unit can also burn DVDs and CDs up to 16X to 32X conventional.
The Pioneer BDR-203BK also incorporates a number of technologies to improve both the recording and reading, such as Ultra DRA, which reduces vibration while rotating the disk, or an automatic correction laser to adjust to different thicknesses of discs containing impurities or possible.
The unit comes with software from CyberLink Blu-ray Disc Suite 6 and will be priced at 250 euros.
