Philips Brilliance technology PowerSensor

Following the line of devices made by Philips, you turn to the new display technology PowerSensor.
Called Philips Brilliance, it features a system where energy reduction through a series of infrared motion detection lighting up the screen or not accordingly.
The people at the company says up to 50% energy savings with this new system into Brilliance, which also presents some of the following characteristics:
- 22 inch screen
- Resolution 1680 × 1050 pixels
- Format 16:10
- 1000:1 contrast ratio
- Response time of 5 milliseconds
- VGA and DVI Inputs incorporated
- External speakers.
If you’re interested, you can buy a Philips Brilliance from next month for a price around 199 euros.
