Nokia 6208 Classic

Nokia 6208 classic

Strange rumors come from Nokia, which once in place with touch screens could start to apply them in more models in its catalog. For the moment, are the 5800 and the N97 the only official, but the Nokia 6208 Classic could add to this list.

Two things are what make us call it strange. On the one hand the design of the terminal, which is retained within the classic line from Nokia, with a style Candybar with conventional keyboard. On the other hand, the fact that they come equipped with S60 5th edition, but with a version of S40 ready for touch screens.

Therefore, the Nokia 6208 Classic is within the range of half-manufacturer of low, incorporating only GPRS connectivity, 27 MB of internal memory and MicroSD card reader. Its screen is 2.8 inches with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, while the camera is 3.2 megapixel and has flash and autofocus, all with a weight of 130 grams.

One possible explanation would be that this terminal is intended to Asian markets and to serve as the touch screen, especially for the introduction of other characters than Western alphabets. What we will know when Nokia submit it officially, the price and date of departure.

UPDATE: According to the official website of Nokia China, the screen is 2.4 inches and, indeed, it is with touch screen.
