New Intel Atom N450 netbooks

January is expected strong. Strong in every way, starting as provided by the ESC which will see dozens of new developments in all fields of technology.
One of the main news for consumers who might see at the fair in Las Vegas will be the arrival of new Intel Atom. On them we have already spoken on several occasions that if the Atom 2, that if PineTrail … the fact is that more data are now known: January 11 there will come a new model, the Atom N450 with frequency of 1.66GHz and without the GPU + CPU combo that we promised in PineTrail D. For them still have to wait few more months, but said in March it would a new model (the N470) with evolved features.
Far more interesting is the data they provide from DigiTimes, which suggests that several manufacturers launch netbooks with the new N450, including operating systems of all flavors: Windows 7, Moblin or even the antiquated (but effective) Windows XP. They also discussed the interest of several manufacturers for Google Chrome OS, a system not yet final but is expected to be final face-to mid-2010.
