More updates to SuSE Linux
SuSE Linux is news again, and again with security updates to multiple software packages, which demonstrates the importance of users for those in charge of the operating system.
Turning to the topic that brings us here, it is noteworthy that some updates only affect certain versions (for example 10.2), so it is recommended to update through the automatic tools YOU (YaST Online Update) to facilitate the task.
Some details of why update:
- Multiple vulnerabilities in phpMyAdmin. (only OpenSUSE 10.2, 10.3 are affected)
- Htop vulnerability could allow an attacker to inject escape sequences. (only openSUSE 10.3 and 11.0 are affected)
- Refusals of service through RSS subscriptions in cups. (only affected openSUSE 11.0)
