List of antispyware not reliable

Eric L. Howes, a professor at GSLIS (Graduate School of Library and Information Science) at the University of Illinois, USA has published an interesting list of suspects antispyware or unreliable for users.

These programs are potentially hazardous because deceive the user by giving the impression that removes spyware or adware then commonly infect our PCs and steal important information. In other cases, these programs simulate detect adware and spyware to the end user naively buying program, deceptive marketing.

The list includes the date 336 programs of this type, each with its own website which is good to have in mind when seeking a reliable AntiSpyware.
