Lightning Hash Cracker: Resale passwords with a NVIDIA graphics card
The Russian firm Elcomsoft has released a free download utility, which would allow the use of graphics cards (NVIDIA) to break passwords, from “hashes” MD5.
This tool, called Lightning Hash Cracker, would reduce the times of key recovery significantly, because of the processing capacity of the card itself.
If you own any card NVIDIA GeForce 8, Geforce 9 or GeForce 200, and you’re stuck on issues of computer security, will surely be tempting to try a tool like this, so we invite you to do it and discuss the results obtained.
