LG BD590 adds HDD to Blu-ray

LG’s gamble with the Blu-ray is still strong, launching models that incorporate multiple functionalities in addition to playback this format. Among the novelties presented at the CES are the LG BD590, a player that has internal hard drive.
That yes, however much some would like to offer the possibility of making copies of films to the internal disk, this is not the idea of the Korean manufacturer. In this disk, 250 GB, can store music, photos, videos and movies purchased on the VUDU service.
At least, since we can not import DVD or Blu-rays, yes we can do it with audio CDs, connecting to Gracenote to collect all these data. Gracenote MusicID service also offers the Stream, which enables us to listen to the music you are playing in a film or series.
The connectivity of the LG BD590 is given by its Wi-Fi module with support for 802.11n and Ethernet port, with which we can access content through DLNA, and a USB to connect to external drives. Hit the market in spring and summer of this year, at a price to be determined.
