Dell Vostro A840 and A860 Notebooks, to emerging countries

Dell has presented two new Vostro notebook models for online, which are specifically designed for corporate, government and educational institutions in emerging countries, for their performance and the final price.

The new products are the names of Dell Vostro A840 and Dell Vostro A860, introducing the following characteristics:

• A840 Dimensions: 31.1 x 35.6 ~ 339.7 x 250 mm
• A840 Weight: ~ 2 kg
• A860 Dimensions: 36.8 x 31.5 ~ 376 x 255 mm
• A860 Weight: ~ 2.4 kg
• Intel Core 2 Duo T5670/Pentium Dual-Core T2390/Celeron Dual-Core T1400/Celeron 560
• OS: Ubuntu Linux or Windows Vista
• 1GB of RAM, 4GB up to 667 MHz
• LCD 14.1 “(A840) or 15.6″ (A860)
• Intel GMA X3100
• SATA up 120GB (A840) and 160GB (A860) to 5400RPM
• CD / DVD ROM
• WiFi 802.11 b / g
• Ethernet 10/100
• Bluetooth 2.0 EDR (Optional)
• Memories SD / SDI / MMC readers

Vostro A840 model will be available from late August, and recently by mid-September in the case of Vostro A860.

From prices even though no information… surely will be accessible either in their most basic configurations… or at least that was the idea of launching this as Dell.
