Alienware has also been updated to provide the latest and most powerful Intel Core i7-980X. Under the name of Alienware Area-51 is offering impressive features.

The Alienware Area-51 powered by Core i7-980X, 3.33 GHz that can be overclocked up to 3.73; other features include ATi 5970 graphics, multiple RAID configurations of hard drives both traditional and SSD, and much, much more.

Overall, Alienware Area-51 has always been and it’s still one of the strongest teams on the market today, the price of the Alienware Area-51 is consistent with their characteristics. We talked about a starting price of $ 2,199 with a processor i7-930, and with the i7-980X would raise us up to $ 3,049.

The F Series are not the only laptops that Sony has presented at the ESC. Before the show started and the flood of submissions already leaked some models that have now become official. They are the Sony Vaio S Series and Sony Vaio Y Series.

We start with the S Series, which are designed to be easy to carry, thanks to its lightweight, around 2 kilos to get by using aluminum enclosures. Its display is 13.3 inches and is illuminated with LEDs, automatically adjusting its brightness by a light sensor, which also serves to turn the backlight on the keyboard.

A good example of the Sony Vaio S Series is the VPCS11V9E / B, which comes with an Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB hard drive, an Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics card, DVD drive, three USB ports and an HDMI output. Alternatively, they may incorporate a module for 3G connectivity.

But if what we seek is still more speed, and the Sony Vaio Series, maintaining the same screen size, to reduce weight 1.78 kilos and with increased autonomy to 9 hours with standard battery use. The Sony Vaio VPCY11S1E comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300, 4GB RAM, 320 GB disk, Intel GMA X4500 graphics card and no optical drive.

It will go on sale later this month and the S series can be customized in different colors, including green and pink.

One of the occurrences within the ESC that could cause more sensation among the gaming community is the Alienware M11x. This computer has not yet been completely unveiled a netbook could be to play.

And is that although not yet released and therefore we do not have definitive characteristics. Without knowing the final specifications will also VGA video outputs, HDMI and DisplayPort, as well as multiple USB ports, and 11-inch screen resolution 1366 × 768 pixels and 8-cell battery that will offer a range of up to 6.5 hours, much less (about 2 hours) if we use the computer as possible.

The price of Alienware M11x could reach close to $ 1,000, higher than all the current netbooks but also with a power far greater than themselves.

Thermaltake Element V is large tower type, its most striking feature is that it includes a ventilation duct exclusively for graphics cards, there seems to be designed jointly by people from NVidia and Thermaltake own. Of course, the box has a size more than enough to store several high-end graphics cards, the highest. He also called attention to a small bay for 2.5-inch drives that are designed to be used with SSD.

For now do not know prices or availability Thermaltake Element V special edition NVidia, although still an issue something special might turn out rather expensive. Starting tomorrow we hope to meet more data, even though it is posited as an interesting option for more advanced audiences, including overclockers (a detail to them is to come prepared for water cooling and the ability to install up to 8 fans) and People looking for a high end box.

Not an official part of HP, but has been allowed to see in an online store. The new HP Mini 210 will bring the new Intel Atom with integrated graphics, one of the models presented before.

More specifically will the N450 to 1.66 GHz with a core, with 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB hard disk and integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics are the most important specifications, not to mention the size of the screen that stays in 10.1 inches. It is simply an improvement over previous devices from HP, only now with a design substantially renovated and the use of the new chip.

This HP Mini 210 hoping come in January and the price is around $320 and $395, depending on the color to choose from a wide variety (glossy black, matte black, blue, red or gray).

CherryPal surprised us in the day with a computer to network in anticipation of operating systems such as the Chrome OS. Now also is distancing itself from other manufacturers with a couple of laptops rather curious.

The first is a low-cost ultraportable, the CherryPal Africa, which will cost $99. Obviously we can not expect great performance with that price, because inside we found only a 400 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM, 2 GB of storage space and operating system Windows CE or Linux.

The other model, the CherryPal Bing, but with the soul of ultraportable comes with a superior size. That is, inside we find the classic Intel Atom 1.6 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 160 GB hard disk, all with Wi-Fi connectivity and memory card reader and runs Windows XP.

Until chemical nothing unusual in an ultraportable. But the strange thing is that the CherryPal Bing comes with a 13.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, so that lightness is lost but won in the handling of the keyboard.

That yes, his price is too high, $ 389, compared to alternatives that offer better processing and storage capacities.

Medion PC7233 with the German manufacturer wanted to offer a computer not only powerful but also extensible, designed primarily for those who use their machine to play. Hence the specifications found in its interior and customization capabilities.

This PC 7233 processor is an Intel Core i7 2.66GHz, together with a nVidia GeForce GT230 and 12 GB of RAM. The storage is done with a disk 1TB SATA 7200 rpm but if that falls short we are no problem because the size of the box allows us to easily expand.

With a size of 72 × 34 × 66 centimeters, this has five internal bays for hard drives, which are fixed without screws and implement a hot-swappable system, so that we can change them without having to power down the computer.

The Medion PC7233 features Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire, a memory card reader, DVD drive and comes with a keyboard and mouse for gamers. Its price is 1199 euros and has a considerable weight because of its size of 18 kilos.
