But what really fascinates most heavy users of Internet is that the Netgear WNR3500L also works under Linux and internal software to provide us with the manufacturer, we can install it without the community versions bring to public light.

The price of WNR3500L router from Netgear will be about 120 euros, and if you wish, you can also use it with a 3G connection because the USB port is compatible with all modems already know.

To start using this server only have to “connect” with our account of Facebook (unfortunately, you have to do this every time you start this application). In FB Quick options we can specify that we only show certain types of notifications of Facebook, and we can customize the time interval between each update, with the number of seconds during which the notices appear on the desktop.

A new NAS this time manufactured by Plextor, named Plextor StorX. On the one hand Plextor StorX with a single hard drive, 500 GB and 1 TB of capacity, and targeted at users who want to venture into the storage devices on the network. And a little more advanced and interesting are the three models StorX with two hard drives, offering capacities of 1, 1.5 and 2 TB.

The price of the devices were placed in 225 or 300 euros for the NAS with a record of 500 GB or 1 TB, and at 375, 420 and 510 euros for the Plextor StorX dual hard drive of 1, 1.5 and 2TB respectively. Will be available soon through authorized distributors.

Known features and prices, we are talking about NAS that, while not expensive compared to other competing products, continue to be somewhat in excess of what a home user might pay. It should be borne in mind that these NAS devices emerge as a trend in external storage, offering higher speed data transfer using a network interface. However, the price difference is very significant, and although the NAS to be much faster I doubt that is something that these prices worthwhile for a home user.

DAP-1522 Dlink router presents its Dual Band technology as the main attraction. Access points are based on the 802.11n standard (Wireless N) that are ready for operation at the typical frequency of 2.4 GHz, with operating the existing WiFi or in the 5 GHz band, which gives us a wider coverage and more bandwidth.

The DAP-1522 Dlink incorporates, in addition to the dual-band, improvements in the configuration and use, in addition to numerous technologies such as PoE (Power over Ethernet), which permits convert the electricity grid in data network, which allows the power supply devices network via a UTP / STP in an ethernet network, or Green Ethernet, which reduces the level of energy consumption by up to 40%. What made through automatic detection of the status of connections and cable lengths, after adjusting for consumption of power. Satellite dishes certainly have been removed and hidden in the simple design of the router.

We also liked that this DAP-1522 Dlink is capable of turning any wired device in a wireless device. Thus, we can connect the computer that we want to convert into a wireless ports of Gigabit, either a hard drive or a portable player.

This router also incorporates technology SharePort which recently was added to all Wireless N routers from D-Link, which lets you convert any peripherals, including printers, multifunction devices or hard disks, in one aspect of the Wi-Fi network, with just plug into a USB port on your router.
