Carminat TomTom come in several models of Renault

The Carminat TomTom which was submitted in early February and has made its official debut and will be available optionally starting this spring in the new Renault Clio. Soon, it will also be available for the Renault Megane and Scenic.

Its cost 490 euros, can be somewhat high when compared to a stand-alone solution, but the integration with the vehicle provides some additional advantages, such as some take advantage offered by the car.

Specifically, the Carminat TomTom sensors integrated with odometer and a compass, so as to improve the positioning of the vehicle, offering a more precise location at any time. In addition, serves as a screen for the radio show and temperature.

The screen of the Carminat TomTom integrated into the console of the vehicle and has a size of 5.8 inches. Maps from Tele Atlas are may be updated without any problems, using an SD card and loading the data from the computer.
