512 GB SSD from Toshiba
Toshiba has already announced that for the CES 2009 show its new 2.5-inch SSD with a capacity of 512 GB. These new discs will be based on technology of 43 nanometers, the manufacturer promised improvements in performance and speed of operation.
Devices that could start using these new discs from Toshiba in April would be the portable video game consoles and even systems for home theater.
The new SSD from Toshiba promise on the role of reading speeds of 240 Mb / s and 200 MB / s in writing. AES will come for sure.
